Incredible footage has emerged of what a group of Russians claim is the remains of a dead alien.The video, which many viewers have dismissed as an elaborate hoax, was allegedly filmed near the town of Irkutsk close to Russia’s Lake Baikal in recent weeks.

The strange clip of the discovery has now been seen by nearly 1.5 million people in the two days since it was uploaded on April 17.The video was released after villagers in the area reported seeing bright orange lights in the sky last month with one witness capturing the mystery lights on his or her mobile phone. This is a photography sequence of 42 stacked shots, caught in Olympic Stadium, Athens during a severe thunderstorm. It only took me aproximatelly 30 minutes to capture 51 lightnings.

Nine shots were destroyed because of the excess brightness. See also the waterdrops from the drain pipe. They seem ’still’ as they instlantly illuminated from the lightnings. Read the rest of this entry

Check out this amazing lightning strike recorded at 7600 frames per second. The video shows a downward-propagating negatively charged, stepped leader.

The lightning branches out in many different directions, causing one leader to make a connection with the ground, creating a bright return stroke.

The downward leaders are traveling at a couple of hundred kilometers per second. The bright return stroke travels upward at around half the speed of light, and is too fast to capture in more than one image. Read the rest of this entry
